Born and raised in Osaka, Japan.

After graduation, Mai worked as an intern for a year at a nonprofit organization specializing in deradicalization. Through this experience, she realized the need to accept people who have been abandoned by society.  In order to achieve world peace, she also realized that "education" is the key to reintegrating society, and this led her to develop a strong interest in "education". In 2022 she decided to join TigerMov, which aims to nurture the next generation of leaders on the global stage.
